Air Liquide Medical Systems is continually involved in research to achieve significant improvements in the development of Inhalation Therapy.

Believing firmly in the benefits of topical and local therapy, the company was the first in Italy to develop two separate nebulizers for differentiated treatment of the upper and lower airways.  As a result of increasing emphasis on developing new instruments in recent years, the company has launched some absolute novelties, including:

• Nebula and Bimboneb, Italy’s most popular aerosol therapy devices, which guarantee a high standard of quality and safe, effective treatment. As they come with separate nebulizers for different parts of the respiratory apparatus, they meet requirements in various types of application.
• Rinowash, the first specific nebulizer for treating the upper airways designed to atomize drugs for treating THE UPPER AIRWAYS.
• Nebula Spacer and Perfecta, the first spacer masks with an ergonomic design for enhanced patient comfort. The enlarged chamber slows down the flow of atomized drug, which reduces oropharyngeal deposition and increases bronchial deposition, making the treatment much more effective.
• Mefar 2000, a drug nebulizer featuring two Venturi-effect  tubes for more effective atomisation, allowing enhanced pulmonary deposition more quickly.

L'espace  is the new spacer chamber designed, developed and built entirely by Air Liquide Medical Systems to enhance treatment with all MDIs (metered dose inhalers), a new breakthrough in terms of research and the development of devices to meet the needs of both patients and doctors.

Our nebulizers are tested with the main drugs to assess their reliability and, more importantly, their ability to distribute the drug in a way consistent with the manufacturer's indications.
