In association with Air Liquide, Air Liquide Medical Systems has developed the FELIX DUAL anaesthesia workstation for allowing anaesthesia with xenon in best conditions of reliability, safety, ergonomy, simplicity, economy and ventilation performances. FELIX DUAL also allows to achieve classical anaesthesias with nitrous oxide and/or with inhaled anaesthetic agents.

Numerous technological innovations

The FELIX DUAL anaesthesia workstation offers:

  • techniques for Target Control operation (injection of oxygen, air, N2O and xenon in a low pressure breathing closed circuit)
  • measurement of xenon concentration in the breathing gases, this innovation having been protected by release of an international patent.

The precise and direct measurement of xenon concentration in the breathing circuit as well as the operation according to target control principle are making unique world-wide this anaesthesia workstation that makes the xenon anaesthesia procedure stable, repeatable, affordable, simple and by the way safe.
