Markos Mefar  was created in 2000 when Air Liquide Healthcare, after acquiring Markos in 1996,   acquires also Mefar and, merging it with Markos, founded Markos Mefar SpA becoming the most important Italian Company in the field of medical equipment  dedicated  to the cure of pulmonary phathologies and of upper respiratory tract.

Markos Mefar is known to be a reference point in the market for its realibility, level of production, capability and innovation.

The company even turns out to be an innovation in changing the market perception, specializing in products and services in respiratory field  and investing in clinical research, Markos Mefar is considered the preferred partner of pharmaceutical Companies and healthcare world.

The original entrapeneurial intuition drawn together with the strength of a big international group  are the result of a past of over 30 years od successful business and the potential of a new forecoming great success.

The main field, although supported by new synergies as weel as renewed great opportunities, is always involving the inhalation therapy who we are the specialists of for at least thirty years giving a very important scientific and technological contribution not only in Italy but also all over the world.

Our aeorosol units along with the nebulisers and other devices for the treatment of respiratory diseases, have always granted  a sure and effective therapy and a durable high quality level. Now they can also benefit of a well-known and important brand: Air Liquide.

The name Air Liquide actually enables us to benefit from its worldwide fame in the healthcare and industry fields.

The new name, Air Liquide Medical Systems, gives a new boost to achieve the customer satisfaction.

We aim to develop innovative medical technologies considering that innovation means improving patient comfort and ease of use.

Our vision is to improve the quality of life of patients affected by respiratory pathologies by concentrating our research in efficient and non-invasive technologies, easy to use and respecting the environment and our aim is to be the leaders in innovation, offering to both doctors and patients  realible and effective devices to improve their live:  breathing well is living better!
